Hey I was given a 150g tank the front/back panel was cracked all way tru so I remove the whole pane and removed all the old silicone, was wondering if there was another material to use that would be safe and not leak I could go back with glass but half inch glass is lil high any ideas.

use the remaining glass to build a plywood tank. so you have the bottom, sides, and back glass left right. you could build a couple plywood tanks with all that glass. i would build one tank that used the back glass, and the side glass to build a 3 window plywood tank. then you could build a standard plywood tank with the bottom glass. you would spend less on materials than buying another pane of glass. just a though
