Repairing cracked acrylic tanks?

Okay, I am thinking of buying up this 360 gallon acrylic tank thats 8'x4'x20"

Only problem is its got a large crack on it thats 6-7in long that starts on the bottom and goes up one of the sides. I am told that it can be repaired for a couple hundred but it will be unsightly but I can just turn that side to the back.

Do you guys think it could be done, can you repair acrylic like this?

i don't like the sound of it. if it was on top i'll be fine with it but from the bottom. i'll pass.

JB Weld and Duct Tape!!!, that large of a tank will be alot of pressure on the bottom.
Would be good for a lizard tank or something with not alot of water in it
