I bought a 7.8 gallon pen plax rimless Radius glass tank from Ebay which arrived with the back pane smashed. They refunded and let me keep it, so I removed the broken pane and savaged the sump. The front pane which is curved, and bottom, are thick glass and in perfect shape. I have a ton of acrylic panels around here, and was wondering if I could replace the back with a piece of thick acrylic. Is this doable? What will give the strongest bond for glass to acrylic? Bad idea?
Thanx!

Okay, good, glad I asked. Just trying to save money on materials. Whatever silicone they used to glue the plastic sump to the inside was hell prying off, but I had no idea how strong it was. Thanx!
