Does anybody know of a way to order a replacement upper rim for an AllGlass aquarium? I think considering the way mine is broken its going to be the easiest thing I can do so long as the cost isn't astronomical.

edit: I've emailed Aqueon, just didn't know if anybody knew a 3rd party to get them from easily.

They can usually be ordered directly through your local fish store.

^ interesting, I'll have to drop by one today sometime and see if they can do it.

Any idea how much it usually costs? I can't really swing more than 20 or 30 bucks right now...

MAN! Aqueon customer service is AWESOME.

I just got a phone call (didn't answer it, I don't answer random numbers) from them. They left a voice mail telling me that I could order through an LFS, gave me part numbers for black & oak and told me it would probably be 25-30$. Also gave me a direct line extension to call back if I need.

Granted...I think the color of my aquarium doesn't match black OR oak :irked: Its a really DARK brown color.

I have an aquarium that has black rims, and the stand is rosewood (dark red/brown) and it looks fine. As long as you get black, it won't clash, just don't go for two different wood colors....Tacky!

^ yeah I'm not too worried about it clashing with the stand...if I go with black I'll have a walnut lower trim and a black upper trim.

The lower will match the stand & the upper will match the hoods & light :p

If I can't find walnut I'm just going to get black and then eventually get a canopy that matches the stand.
