I'm new to here, and need some guidance I just bought a used acrylic 125 hexagon flat back that needs some work. Now I'm not scared of doing it but my questions are can I replace the bottom and the top of this tank?
Bottom has/had some cracks that someone at one time repaired but it looks questionable. The top well is non existent, it was cut off around the edges not at the seams. Any advice would help I can add pics later today. I'm in Ohio and also don't know of anyone that can give the advice here locally.
Thanks Justin

It can be done and is pretty simple. I replaced the top panel only on my tank. Use a router to cut the acrylic so it's ready for the new panel. Weld-on 4 would work well for your tank. 3/8" sheet should be plenty for top and bottom panels. Leave about 1/4" overhang on the sides, then trim it off with the router once dry to get the best fit.

Thank you so much I feel much better now that someone else says it's possible!

Thanks again Justin
