I've searched around and can't really find an answer I like. I replumbed with Pvc(purple cleaner, pvc all pupose cement), and a new hotwater tank. Finished this last night, been running water, dishes laundry etc...I,m getting ready to do a 100g water change. Is it to soon or will my fish be allright?

I did not have a problem after 48 hours, (i had a plumber 60' of my main line) not sure what he used (brand that is, it was pvc)

with a hot water heater, I would drain it dry 2 or three times. I would be concerned that some of the cleaner or solvent could still be in the tank.

Run the tap your planning to use for 10 minutes or so first and don't worry about it. The solvents as well as the glue residue is required by code be gone from the water in 24 hours or less.
