if i were to just use a shovel and build a pond that was big as a 30,000 gallon was the deepth, length and width it would have to be? the deeper the better! also how much would the supplies cost like the heater and filter and stuff. hoping all of it is under 5 grand thank you!

Make it 400ft long, 1ft wide, and 10ft deep. That will get you to about 30,000 gallons.
