I have a pictus who is in a quarantine tank and will have to be moved to my 400L because I have a bgk coming tomorrow - I'm getting worried because I'm having mixed views on wether the pictus will be ok in my 400L with the fish already in there. The 400L contains:

2 big guppies

One Bronze Cory

6 Smallish Angelfish (size of a £2 coin, slightly bigger)

1 Gold nugget Plec

1 medium clown loach

will the pictus eat any of these fishes? :irked:

hmm I think he is probablu around 8-9 cm in length, from head to tail. i only hve one.

size of a £2 coin What's that? LOL

I think they should be fine loaches, cory's, and pleco's usually have spikes that dissuade others from eating them. Guppies might be toast, everything is going to come down to size and temperament.

lol sorry guys but i'm not good with measurements, so that was the nearest size to compare my angels to! well for the two guppies it doesn't matter, and I hope the bronze cory will be ok, when i bought him from the lfs he was only 1 cm!!! now he's big and bulky lol, but i know for a fact he cant fit in the pictus' mouth, so i will take my chances and move pictus, i just hope that it doesn't try and eat anyone.

To tell the truth I just googled american money and used wikipedia to match the nearest thing. LOL

I asked the question as more of a joke I guess.
