i catch baby lmb around 2 or 3 inches with a plastic worm, i watch for them close to the bank pull the plastic worm by them and they bite the tale of the worm and hang on and i pull them out of the water, caught about 5 like this one time. might want to try this if you are looking to keep a much smaller lmb.
