I will post pics soon. Otherwise this year its pretty sweet. Should deff come check it out, Its opened today and tomorrow,

I have a dire question. I have a Mali male uro that is probably 8 years old and very very docile, does anybody on here know if I can house some smaller as in a much smaller ornate male and a larger niger female with him, Its a huge tank i got him in its not like its cramped. I have been thinking about it for awhile and i have hospital tanks, they will be safe but has anyone done this before???

i have mixed uros of different sizes together with great success in the past.

but like anything you have to monitor them very close for a while and even at that nothing is ever certain.

I'm not too familiar with Uro care but are the males territorial? The smaller one might get bullied. I guess you'd have to keep an eye on them like Mike said.

If I were you I'd just pick up a female of the same species you have now and see if you can breed them. In the near future these guys won't be aloud to be exported from Africa and their prices are going to skyrocket.

How much room is not cramped? You'll have to monitor it as you go, the males can sometimes be a bit aggressive... tail biting etc. On the other hand they could get along fine... just gotta be prepared if it doesn't work out.

I had a large male mali, full grown, in with a small less than a year old mali and they were great. I've also had a niger pair together with a pretty big size diff and evrything went smooth. The little mali was always sitting on the big on when basking.

The shop I bought them from also had a huge enclosure with all of the mali uros in it and the sizes varied from large adults to small juvis and if I recall they never had any issues either.

this year was awesome just like the rest, I will post a bunch of the pics i took. If your in the southeast you have to come to one of these. They come to every southeastern city anyway. I variety of species is great and some of the exotic mammals will have your younger siblings or kids flipping out.

:popcorn:I havnt even looked at the pix yet.
lol Im not going to go over names, But all around pretty varied selection.
And some beautiful lizards that i had to keep myself from buying via impulse :D.
