I believe I explained nature of post in the first paragraph...just relaying some interesting observations from journals that are not available to most of my readers; a different format/forum than the books and peer-reviewed articles I've published.
 
right but for every story of a sighting you need to credit the author and provide what journal it was from, etc. You cannot just say "this is from some scientific publication"

After 40+ years in the field, passing along the observations as was done is appropriate; sorry, but I've nothing more to add to this, best, Frank
 
I don't mean to jump into a discussion not my own, but after 22 years in broadcasting, it remains true that the more established you are, the more important accurate sourcing becomes.

That said, I don't know you, but I am familiar with the creatures you describe, and don't doubt the Cuban tree frog anecdotes. Hard to say with the rest cause, y'know, no sources. It's better received to say "reports include" than "theses come from specific reports" then to ignore citing the reports.
