I was wondering if i could use some of the reptile decor they sell at petco or other pet shops in an aquarium do you guys think it'll mess with my water chemistry? I wanted to add some more hiding places for my GT and they have what looks like hollowed out logs cut in half i think that would look good in my tank but i don't want to risk it. Also i'm also thinking of getting him another tank mate he's all by himself in a 90g right now what else should i add? i was thinking a con and a bristlenose i really don't want to overstock. thanks

I wouldn't get the logs, unless you got the resin ones because they won't leak anything into the water, and your other option is driftwood. Your plecos would thank you if you got driftwood!
