If you want to feed your predator for free... just take a walk around the nearest mirrored building nearby. I just got a new job in a building like this and holy crap! Just my own window gets hit a couple times a day... times a thousand other windows and that's a lot of dead birds for one building. Sad, really.
If I still kept reptiles it would be so easy to bring home still warm kills... or even wounded ones. IMO its better than them just slowing dying of their injuries and going to waste.
