Reptile ID Anyone?

i posted this in other pets subforum but apparently there are only a few people visiting that SF, this lizard thing was caught by one of the members of a local forum i'm a member of in here in PI. We still tryin to figure out what this thing is.

Possibly some kind of Alligator Lizard.

But, where it was caught, will be a much better way to tell - and check a local reptile fauna book.
