reptile light bulbs vs. hardware store light bulbs

The Zilla Day Light Incandescent Bulb that I had just croaked on me.

I'm probably going to the hardware store to replace it,
just wanted to get the confirmation that it's ok to do so

Yes.

Although, I do recommend those Ceramic Infrared Heat Emitters. In my experience, they spread the heat better than a bulb, and I think my snakes liked not having to be under a glaring light.

Yeah, mine just hides under the cork during the day when the light is on,
I like providing the day/night cycle!
