I just picked up a new tank off of craigslist to start on a tank set-up idea I had for my Crested Geckos.

I got this tank & stand, but with natural wood trim instead of the black.

I'm looking to take plexi-glass and build some levels/ledges at various points in the tank, but I'm not sure what I can use to adhere them to the tank walls. I'm imagine I can't use my normal glues and adhesives, right?

And for the back of the tank, I had these really cool tiles I wanted to line it with but they'd require sealant. Is there a safe sealant to use, or no?

Thanks!

You can use silicon and like.... epoxy's that are used in fish tanks. just give it time to cure and air out before putting anything living in there... if i recall...silicon does not adhere to plexiglass so you would need to use something else

most adhesives are fine for reptiles as long as they are dried and no longer emit an odor. I would not worry too much about it but go for as simple an ingredient as possible. The fewer chemicals, the better.
