LFS has huge pieces, for less than $200...

The wood on the left was a sample piece I bought to see if I could get it to sink, passed that test...

I have a 75g off feeders is next up with a bigger piece...

Any reservations? Previous experiences?

Should be safe.

We tried similar and the wood just wouldn't sink with multiple weeks submersed, it also started to smell a bit funny..

As long as your careful with your wood types, people here seem to have helped on that, you shouldnt have any issues.

I’ll check, grape vine sounds familiar,

I got that small piece to sink in a 5g bucket with rock on top, changing out water few times....

Thanks for input all!
