recently i just bought 3 baby aros in my 55 gallon tank, one of them was a bully, so i got rid of him. One of them was so stressed out of the bully aro, it died. I have one last one now. It seems like its fin and scale is rotting, i dont know why. The fin is like black now, i guess its scared? i had him for a week now, and i did a 50% water change. Seems like hes not doing too well. So i put some melafix, some salt, stress coat, and stress enzyme after the water change. Can someone make a baby aro guide for the beginners. I'm talking about 2-3 inches. Really dont want this one to die :(

very clean water at 82 degrees, stable ph, frequent small feedings.

What are your water parameters, ammonia, nitrite? What are the levels of pH and nitrates before and after water change? Also need to keep for over medicating.

Have a test kit? If not go out and get one. If you can't afford one or don't feel you can diagnose your water go to the LFS with a sample of the water.
I have a small aro as well and the only problem I had was ich. Other than that he's eating like a champ. What you shouldn't have done was remove the one that was aggressive. They were probably trying to establish a pecking order.
