how much difference is there between leo/hen hybrids and the pure breed? any difference in care, max size, etc. id like to see some adult pics if ya got them

As far as habit, they're the same.....can be aggresive, best kept with another hardy species (motoros, pearls). They eat a lot and very active.

I would say that the only difference is pattern...

My leohens might be a little less aggressive then my pure leos but they are all ok in the same tank

Picture 017_edited-1.jpgPicture 017_edited-1.jpgLeo/hen are usally not quite as black as regular leo's and have more random & odd spotted pattern. They are beautiful rays none the less.
I would base size and growth rate the same as leo's.

here is a shot of my leo/hen x leo. She is about 19 months old and around 9". ***sorry for the double picture... not sure what happened**

One of my favorites in the cross. Love the odd spot patterns, it allows for so much black to show.

My big leohen female is due in a few days, im going to divide her with my big spot leo male and see if he can get the job done. Not sure if this male has bred for me yet but it will be a very cool combo imo. Im very glad i purchased my leohens when i did, they are some of my favorites!
