RES in saltwater?

Can you do this? i was reading on a snapping turtle care sheet and they said the can live in saltwater. can RES do this? cause i heard people giving them salt baths to prevent/get rid of fungus and all that. and i saw a video on youtube with a RES with some clown fish and damsels

I've seen a few different Turtle species in Estuaries, but they can't handle Salt Water for extended periods........

And I never got the thought process about using salt to cure shell problems in Turtles........Nothing like Kidney stress and irritating any new tissue growth.......Terramycin or Acriflavine all the way........

dont do it. some can live in brackish, but its still not a good idea for extened periods of time
