Need info, Friend is giving me two babys in a 20 gallon comes with everything since she is moving and cant take them. i try google but its just a waste. Can i keep two in a 40-60 gallon if not i might make a pond if i can !!:headbang2

hmm this is gonna suck cause i donno if i can get a bigger tank for them as my mom is a cow (Not really just with tanks) But i dont see any harm in keeping them in a 40-50? But if 60 or bigger is needed i must get rid of the little guys awe. but thanks for the tip. i know bigger is better hehe

When it comes to basking turtles, bigger is better. How about a rubbermaid tub? They're cheap and as your turtle grows you can upgrade to larger sizes. A pond of course is the best idea of them all.

I'd say 125 gallon tank for the both of them...

Or rubbermaid, that what I have.

like what a 55 storage container?

Mines in a 55G container at the moment, as he(thought it was a she, but finnaly sexed it) is still small. When he gets larger I will move him into a larget container though, as My walmart has some pretty big containers for really cheap.
