Hey guys,
Today while I did a W/C on my red ear sliders enclosure I noticed some red splotches on some of her scutes. I rubbed the scutes a little with my thumb to see if it would go away(like it was on the outside of the scute) and nothing happened. So I'm pretty sure its coming from underneath the scute.
The plastron is perfect, no scratches/dents or anything like that.
Turtle is swimming and eating just fine. Lately has been basking quite a bit but it hasn't worried me because she would bask in our to half hour intervals.
I would post a pic but I cant find the disk to my cameras software to install it on this computer, and my other computer is currently FUBAR.
Also, I was going to make a thread asking about this earlier:
But would a 3'x1'2' (LxWxH) tank be alright for a common musk/razorback musk turtle? The water height wouldn't be 2' of course, but around 18'' or so. I've read musk's are fine with depths between 10'' - 2' but thought I'd ask anyways.
