So I receive some fish in a rescue one of them is an angel I want to shut the 90 down that they are currently in I have a 450 with a 150 sump that's broken up into three sections one of the end sections which would be 12 inch by 24 inch and about 18 inches of depth would be available for this Angel is that too cramped and cruel

Hello; No not cruel. That opinion is based on having had to use what is available from time to time. Fish are not like dogs, cats and some other pets. They can do well for a time in cramped spaces. It is not like the space is the entire volume of the water so maintaining the water quality will not be an issue.
good luck

this would be his final home so I was wondering
Hello; Final home can a difference. I guess it depends on the size of the angel. Usually a space that is small for a fish is also restricted in water volume. This is not your case with 600 gallons.

in the 450 with the balas and silver dollars?
Hello; I don't know how to answer that one, other than it depends. You can try them together and be ready to move somebody if it goes wrong.

Good luck
