RESCUE FH

I call this 3'' unknown FH a rescue because the owner of my LFS said, he wanted to free up tank space plus nobody in that area buy aggressive fish that much so he said take him sooooooo you know lmao, also i think its a male and i don't know much about FH but i see a ( , ) where the vent is , and his retangular build , do you think it might have potential?

It's a low-grade FH, almost looks like a trimac. I like the other fish in the tank though...

What do you mean low grade? B/c i have one like this but it more of a purple color.

yup is a low grade flower horn.
good grade flowerhorn= kok/head hump + alot of pearls, and intense color with full flower markings.
flower marking from head to tail.

wow they have kok's at 2.5 inches i never knew that. also when i saw him i thought the plums were nice looking. so this FH don't have no potential huh

its a zz red dragon. Give it some more time before you give up on it. He/she is still small. It could still have lots of potential.

it could be a late bloomer.
some dont bloom until 6-7 inchs.
thats whats good about zz some are late bloomers
