Well, as the title says. I rescued a KKP. The poor girl was at petco in the koi for sale tank. I noticed her freezing her tail off in there as i walked back to grab some carbon, so i payed 10$ and strung her from death row. Her head was riddled with scars of HITH. Poor thing. I took her home and introduced her to my tank. Now, my Red Devil X BP is courting her. It is really fun to watch. My question is, do you think I should allow them to breed?

If she is healthy I don't see an issue with it. She might mot be pretty anymore from the scarring but if she doesn't have a genetic issue you can see I would do it.
her breeding tube has extended and she has hidden in a pot structure and pics are not possible at this time. my Red devil x BP mix however i can get a few shots of... he is circling the structure. I assume I will have eggs by morning!

Her face may recover some under the right conditions. Although it appears healed fairly well now, there's a chance it will fill out again within a year and she'll probably just have a few white marks and shallow dents left.
