:( okay so i got to to lfs today which is very good and i found a green terror in a 15g alone. I looked at it and relized it was very beet up and swimming wierd. I asked the manager wat was wrong and he said that the supplier sent the fish in a bagg with 4 red belly piranahas:irked: :banhim: :banher: :screwy:

so i baught him and started with a 2 hour acclimation then right into a nice saltbath(my dads secret wepon-lol idk y but he did it and it kindof worked) then acclimated for a while into a new 28g tank which has 2 cons in it!!!!!!!!!!!

I already got him to eat some color stuff that i feed the female con to improve her color.......any ideas for me he has torn fins and a nice new scar on his side

this fish will soon go in a 35g after it finishes cycling

hope i did the right thing......
if u have any suggestions on what to feed him or so on please post here

(no pics till my phone gets fixed sry):(

Dunno if I would have put an injured fish into a tank with a pair of cons...
Good luck though.

well they arnt a pair still under an inch and very calm havnt even gone near him yet

and i dont think these cons will ever pair up ive had them for maybe 5 months and still nothing
i would put him in 35g but the amonnia strike still hasnt gone down so have to wait a lil longer

Ah, I see. I was under the impression you had a breeding pair or something.

I think you did the right thing, he should be fine.

Put some methal blue (think thats how i spell it) in there so he doesn't get any fungal damage or something like that, can't remember.

yes the cons are very small but fat and the green terror is about 3-4 inches

hes doing good just today hes swimming funny again i have been watching the tank and the cons havnt touched him

wish me luck

Turn the temp in the tank up a bit and add salt. Keep up the water changes. GL!

that poor green terror put some aquarium salt in the tank to help his fins grow back and to heal any cuts and scrapes that he may have
