Rescued a Jardini!

just picked up a 11in. jardini from this kid, wasnt in the best condition, and thats why i wanted it, cause it needed some TLC! has gill curl, couple missing scales and little tears on the fins. no missing barbels but lip as some bumping injuries and no drop eye. i heard from a friend that if they have more of a snout its a female? not sure lmk what you guys think, also some treatments.

will get a better picture tonight...hopefully

oh and i traded a 3in indo and a 3in frontosa for it.

lol different guy, a friend's brother in-law who collects, i just nodded my head, but yea i was lucky, plus i just didnt want the kid to have it, it looked so beat up when i saw it so i rellay wanted to help it

its a monster feeder!! devoured 2 market shrimp and when from aro sticks as well. its health now and is doing super great with my other aros hopefully it helps it heal

Wassup brada, well depends on how bad the gill curl is. You could do an operation....or.... Massage it back. My lil bros Leichardti had a not to bad gill curl and he massaged it for about cuople of days and it went back to normal. I've read a post somewhere on MFK on how to do it. Good luck and hope for a full recovery.
