Rescued a Red Devil/Midas

There was an ad on craigslist for a 6-7" red devil that was being housed in a 29 gallon tank, so I offered the guy ten bucks for his "super rare" fish and picked him up today! He is beautiful and looks to be in great condition. He is in a 125 now with various other large fish, all getting along fine, other than my oscar giving him the stink eye. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, but my digital cam is dead. Enjoy!

Edit: before I get flamed for the Front. He is rescue as well. I am currently looking for a colony for him to join!

Current tank mates: Severum, Pearsi, Kigoma front, Jaguar, Veija Regani, Oscar, marble cat, unid'ed pimelodus, and a couple of female convicts as dithers.

Tell me about it, I measured this guy in the cooler and he is 9.5-10" easy, I guess you could say that when I got there and finally saw him in the tank I was astonished! Thanks for the kind words!

The severum and oscar are like best friends and have been living together for over a year. Thanks for the misinformation.

Thanks, so do I! If he gives me any trouble I'll move him back to my other 125 and let my larger barred midas put him in his place again.
