rescued aro question ??

i just saved a 15-17in silver arowana from a 30. the lfs got him in a trade and thats the only tank they had. he was only in it for a week prior to that idk. ( i have had him for 6 hours and while floating him he jumped a good 8 feet out and away from the tank and landed on a chair lol). anyways it looks like either he bit his barbles off or another fish did it. and does anyone know if the will grow back?

depends how far up the mouth it has broken off, but yes it normally does grow back to some extent.

if its not broken fully it will grow again but not as long as before
