rescued firemouth i month later

he was getting bullied by some adult firemouths. The lfs was happy to get rid of him. He laid on the bottom of my tank for a day and than started dominating the tank.

I think that firemouths are one of the most underrated cichlids out there, the colors are so amazing IMO. glad to see you rescue it!

yes very beautiful man. i always loved them but they never fit real good with my other fish choices. very hardy fish. dont surprise me one bit that he snapped out of it.
