I have recently acquired a jack Dempsey, poor thing had a fungal infection on his eyes and possibly "pop eye". I have no previous experience with sick fish in my 20 yrs of the hobby. He is full grown about 8 1/2-9 Inches in size. He is blind.
Both his eyes are not normal colors anymore one is cloudy and the other is red. Will this change or is he permanently blind? Also what is the best way to feed him and what to feed him I have tried flake pellet and frozen food I have not seen him eat but have had him for 2 months.
Anything is greatly appreciated trying my best to care for this fish to my fullest ability any and all help appreciated

Do lots of water changes ,as far as food get him live foods such as ghost shrimp and guppies, he'll find them with his lateral line.

Update got my 125 gallon up and running and switched him over has not moved a lot but the other fish are enjoying
