My friend told me he needed his jardini rescued from this guy he gave it to. It was in a 50 gallon tank that probably hadn't been cleaned in months... was living in rancid, yellow water.. so I decided to give it a new home :]

Check it out, tell me what you think!

The rock setup does not take up too much swimming space when you look at it from the side, the high points are backed up against the wall!

Close up of the jardini. it's color REALLY got nice in just a day in my tank!

Thanks! It's actually a really nice and calm jardini! I had one 1.5'' African Cichlid left in the tank when I cleared it to put the Jardini in on accident, and they have been getting along for the past 3 days perfectly. I expected it to be food immediately, but the Jardini doesn't mind that it sticks around eating leftovers.

very nice setup! What size of tank and fish?

Thanks everybody! I'm not sure what the specific measurements of the tank are, but I think it's a 125 gallon tank. Not the largest tank I know.. but it's a lot better than what he had. There are 2 FX5's fully stocked with bio media (already cycled tank too) and enough Seachem Purigen for a 200 gallon tank. There are 4 airstones powered by an airpump that shoots in 15 LPM.

The Jardini is about 12''. It has 2 tankmates: one 1.5'' African Cichlid and a 4'' Featherfin Catfish to clean up the bottom. They are getting along great so far, but I'll move the other fish if the Jardini gets too aggressive.

Glad to see such a beauty well taken care of.
