Here are a few pics of a JD that "rescued" from an LFS... i say rescued because he had been there for about 6 months in a 50 gallon bowfront tank with 2 large oscars, an ornate bichir, a red jewel and a huge flowerhorn....

He is around 6" or so, and is a beast... already disposed of a buenos aires tetra and a giant danio....

Thanks... I'm excited to have him... He is settling in nicely and seems very active... Especially trying to catch the rest of the tetras... They are on to him now tho!!

Without me starting another thread let me ask this question... How much should I feed him?? I have never had a fish this big.... I am feeding hikari medium pellets and NLS 3mm pellets... How many pellets should he get each day???

Very lucky fish to have a good owner and a nice home and he's a looked.Feed only what he can eat within 3 minutes. Some people feed theirs twice a day, some once a day or every other day which I do.
