I got this off of a guy who gave it to me since he thought it was sick. He just sits on the bottom or swim vertically against the glass, I guessing its a swim bladder problem. Does any one know what type of Mbuna this is? I think I know, but I wanted to make sure.

Interesting, if I had to guess I would say [FONT=arial,sans-serif][SIZE=-1]Pseudotropheus acei Ngara. I could be wrong though

i have to say it is metriaclima Callainos .. and from the looks of it.. i would say it has been bullied and beaten up more likely then swim bladder.. the tail is all shredded etc.. stress from this can make them lathergic and just linger there.. i have seen many in worse condition recover so i hope for the best for this guy..

I hope he makes a full recovery they are really nice looking fish

Thats great that he is recovering so well.. i can even see the white tips of his tail now.. he is looking alot better...
