Rescued this flowerhorn from my LFS...

So I was going in to do a quick trip for some supplies and this flowerhorn was in a tank looking badly beat up. I asked how much for him, and they just gave him to me since I was a regular there and he was brought in by a customer who couldn't take care of him. Took him home to my available hospital tank and let him rest alone to give him the best chances. Couple weeks later...

Hes still healing but looking so much better. I've searched for hours and hours trying to possibly find out what kind he is.. I don't know too much about these fish. Never kept em, but knew I could help him out. Thanks for any info.

Is it fading? Looks like a fader but can just be beaten up as well. It's a ZZ mix with Kamfa. Kamfa body style with ZZ eyes

Great job, I like saving fish too, picked up a big oscar a few months back and cured his hith.
He Looks good quality too, you keeping him?

He basically had no color but some very pale blue.. I do not/did not know too much about these fish before rescuing him, but I knew from reading that a larger size cok and red eyes are a sign of quality..I think? Anyways.. I am not keeping him long term. When he is nursed back to health he will be going to a new home, which I haven't figured out yet. Just couldn't stand seeing a nice fish beat to crap knowing I had the means to help. The ID helps a lot. =)
