I wasn't lookin' for any fish, but I found this at my LFS. He was dropped off as his former owner lost his ability to care for his tank after the storm. He was in a large tank with large Red Terrors, Texas's, and a 12" nasty Keyhole. He is really beaten up. Hopefully, my SA tank can help him out. Any suggestions?

CL's are a lil goofy for a SA biotope. They add a fun personality to the tank.

OK, I figured salt. I do have CL's and I was afraid of them being harmed with high salt concentrate. Hope I am wrong. I am changing my water every other day and Ill add salt. How much salt for a 150g and will it harm the tanks occupants?

Buy a quarantine tank.

Uh, OK! So, does anyone have any input about the actual species? I don know they are a SA cichlid often from Uruguay.

Anyone have a Port?

Hard to ID until it heals up a bit and isn't so stressed out. Good luck with it.

Plus - I'd like to a 12" keyhole. Don't think they get that big. Must have been something else doing that kind of damage.

I'm sure it was either the Texas or Red Terrors. He's doin' real well right now. Eating everything and is really starting to move around the entire tank. He's kinda paired up with my Balzani. The port or Black Acara is around 6-7". He's not a little guy.
