Reseal question

2 weeks ago the top brace on my oceanic 110 separated and one of the horizontal seals started leaking. I know that I have to reseal the seam that was leaking as well as redo the top bracing and beef it up a bit but my question is whether or not I should reseal the entire thing or just the one that leaked plus the top

I believe new silicone does not stick to the old, so I guess a full reseal

Yeah I had to reseal the whole thing when I got it. But I was just wondering if I could get away with only scraping that one seam and around the top brace

Does anyone know if these tanks are made out of special glass or just normal glass?

It's most likely just regular plate glass on front back and sides and tempered glass on the bottom.
