Resealing a Tank

Im not sure how to tell if a tank needs to be resealed any info would help thank you

Fill it with water, see if it leaks. Is the silicone cracked and flaking off?

If it has decor, empty it out, and fill it up. If it leaks it needs some silicone. You can pinpoint the spot or re-coat the entire tank. all glass aquarium makes a nice silicone.

no it is not flaking of it just looks funny to me and it flaps up in parts

it is a 2 year old 75 gallon tank with 1/2 inch glass so would silicone get old that quick

I say, when in doubt, reseal it. Might as well. It's just a 75. You'll be glad you did it in the long run.
