Funny, I found that article when I resealed the 55 gal tank I'm using for a sump. Followed to the letter, everything looks good so far.

Why did I have to reseal the tank? I bought it on Craigslist from a woman who said it was 5 or 6 years old ... as I started cleaning it at home, I saw a little sticker on the bottom glass ... May 1987. Yes, the tank is 22 years old!
