Hey guys so I recently attempted to reseal my tank with some weld on 3 by injecting it into the white gap on one of my seams. Problem is I dont think it is setting properly. I can still see the white spots on the seperation. I did not clamp it. I only tilted the tank so the weld on could run down. Could this be the problem?

I suspect the problem could be that the acrylic has turned white in there and the glue will not re-clarify the seam.
For the seems to be clear and shiny they need to be flame polished or buffed. Once they change colours they will stay that way. If the seems you injected were dirty it may compromise the weld-on's ability to fuse the panals together.

thanks for the input. can using to much weld on make the strength of the tank weaker? any other advice?
