I am resealing my 240 gallon tank. Any pointers/advise would be greatly appreciated. I have read a lot online on how to do this and I believe I am up to the task. The only real question I have besides any advise is what color of silicone. I know I have to use 100% silicone with no additives but would black or clear look better? My stand is gray and the walls are a different shade of gray. I just was curious what everyone would think looked better. Black or Clear?
Thanks

go with clear, I used black silicon and the black silicon looked black dried but more brown when wet. Clear would look better with gray background

I would go clear, have fun with the reseal, remember. prep is 90% of a successful reseal.

love to see some vids as you go.

good luck my friend. Like Pops said, its all about the prep. I used acetone. It's a pain in the ass TBH, and that was just with a 120 I did.

I prefer rubbing alcohol, fumes not near as bad.
