Tank is 72 by 58 by 18 high

There’s a leak at a place it was previously resealed. Is it worth trying to reseal or should I scrap the tank and the 2000 I paid for it and the stand.

And if resealing or patching any advice from those who have done it.

I bought a used large tank and clearly got taken as there was a slow leak. Obviously, no real recourse but just got swindled. I knew the guys cousins as an acquaintance who I talked fish with often so i gave them more credit than I should of. This is another discussion...

Those are cool dimensions. You can save it with Weldon-40. If you search the forum, there’s multiple threads on how it’s used and what it can do

Should be able to weld in a square or triangle rod into the corner.
I wouldn’t just give up on it. It’s definitely worth a shot.
Do some research and remember the preparation work to get the area clean and ready for the repair is extremely important.

Oops this was supposed to be in the set up section - somehow I posted this in the wrong section lol

There’s already a repair there with a triangle wedge.

Weldon #4. It’s water thin and would most likely be pulled into any leak if the gap is dry. Leave a fan blowing on the seam overnight. Once that is done you can always #40 pour over the reinforcement and be done. Look up top and pour technique

Even if it’s beyond repair it can still be sold to reptile keeper.
