O.K. I'm back to work on my project. The last hick up I had was I found out, "looks good enough to me" on a level is not good enough for 210 gallons of water, when my centerplate cratered into the aquarium.

As you can see in the below photo, this is NOT where the center plate goes......

The tank is 2 X 2 X 7 this shot has the length pretty well shown, you can also see my center marks on Masking tape......

About a week ago discussion was being held about LocTite Stik N Seal, being 6 times more adhesive than silicone. So, my question is: Do I reset this center plate with the stik N seal I bought then Silicone around it or go back with the aquarium silicone?????

Your thoughts and suggestions are welcome here!

Really need some advice on this one......LocTite or Silicone? What say you?

Well I hope it works out, I used the lock tite to set the center plate. Made a mess on the glass, but will cut that away when it cures tomorrow night then put standard aquarium silicone around the plate as I seal the rest of the top of the aquarium.
