Resin Problem

I am building my 239 gallon tank and have applied about 4 coats of bondo resin on as a base.

I am now using a black tint in the resin and seem to be having issues with curing. The color is not staying consistent and looks a bit patchy?????

I sand well between coats to make sure the surface is nice and smooth with no bumps etc to recieve the next coat of resin.

Anyone else have issues with this????

Not directly related to your question, but isn't Bond resin polyester based (i.e., not for underwater use)? Do you plan to use an epoxy topcoat?

not exactly sure on that coonass.......the Bondo is supposed to be waterproof

I know someone who used this product for a tank they built and had no problems with it.....
