Resources for students Thread

Since there are lots of youngsters on here, I thought to start a thread for good study stuff.

Here is one for Math. It's a free website w/YouTube vids that explain the math. Then you can do practice problems.

This is a great tool as the math ranges from basic +- to trig/calc etc...
There are other subjects but I have never even clicked on them.

Ive been using this website to my advantage w/my kids for the past 2 years. Every minute on the site gives them 1 min of iPhone games or computer stuff (little more father/kids details but you get it). Works like a charm in my home!


A gmail acct is needed. W/my kids, I set them up w/one and I created their accts as my students so I can see their progress.

Khan Academy is going to be extremely tough to top; it's pretty much the best free learning resource out there now.

I never used the Internet for practicing math, though; I always just did most, if not all, of the practice problems for the chapter that we were on in class.

I figured why not start a Studies thread since lots are in school or for those parents trying to implement the study habbits at a young age.
