Hey Everybody,

Just curious on how would you restart the tank after you have decided to do something different. I'm going to bring back all of my live rock and sell them, as well as my fish and corals. I will be keeping just the sand and the rocks in the sump.

Could I just get rid of everything and do a huge water change and let the tank sit before adding fish?

Trying to avoid a big cycle as I will be keeping the sand as well as the rocks and sand in the sump.

Last but not least can I clean the sand or will that cause a spike in everything?

Thanks A Million, starting fresh just because of some issues I'm dealing with in the tank.

Thanks A Million!!!

Thanks however it's not really troubles just that I have decided to try different tank set up, most likely back to preds and soft hardy corals because I should be moving any time with in the next year and the next tank will be bigg however most likely will be freshwater.

I shoudn't have written the "issues with in the tank" should of said "some issues with in my head" lol

Thanks for the reply
