I just got a 120 gallon..going to get the stand the tank is really heavy and has outputs on the bottom of the tank, is it safe to rest the tank up on its end?..i dont want to get home and have it cracked ..going to get the stand now..would love to know if it was safe to leave it or if we need to lay it flat before leaving.

My 125g was the same way when I bought it, laying upright on one of its ends...I thought the same but it didn't leak or anything when I got it home...I would lay it flat though when you take it home of course...its always best to lay tanks flat IMO

I already have it home..its sitting on the porch just out of the truck we are going to get the stand now, it was up and running yesterday....

if we lay it down will it be better on its side?..we could prop it up on some boards but its really dirty ..it was a salt tank and we are switching it to fresh, we will be moving it on the stand in a few days once it is clean.
