Hey guys, always have tried to avoid doing this but can I rest a piece of wood on the side or back glass ? Will it put a lot of pressure on the tank ?
The base of the piece is on the bottom floor but it is not a fully stable base so one of the branches of the wood I'll have to rest on either back or side glass in order for it to stand up straight.

Thanks

I rest drift wood against all of my tanks and havent had problems. If the wood isnt a massive branch or anything like that it should rest against the glass pretty well. The bottom of the tank supports most of the weight anyhow and compared to the water and substrate weight most drift wood isnt a significant contribution

Brilliant good to hear that!
I've always known it is ok since the water already exerts a lot of pressure but just tried to avoid doing it!
Guess it should be ok:) thanks
