restocking 25 :)

Hey, i'm restocking my 25 gal, what are some good ideas of some cool chichlids that i can keep in there for life?

Hi,
Are you thinking of adding other fish too? Or just the cichlids? There are several dwarf cichlids that are cool and would also allow some dithers and maybe a Pleco. For instance, the dwarf Julies from Tanganyica with a few livebearers. there are a couple small Acaras, or a Keyhole cichlid (Cleithracara maronii, I think)with some tetra dithers. Then the Shell Dwellers from Malawi are another choice. You can also keep live plants with these guys if you wish.

yeah i was thinking dwarf chichlids
im not much of a fish guy, all of my posts on this forum are pretty much in the reptile section. So ill definitely look into the ones you, listed, thanks!

Definatly go with dwarf cichlids from SA like differnt kinds of rams. A planted tank with these rams would look really cool

Any of the Appistogramma species!!! Just make sure to have good water quality!

Ooops, my bad. The shell dwellers are from Tanganyica too, not Malawi.

Appistos stay small and look nice. A dwarf pike cichlid would be my first choice though, Crenicichla notophthalmus is neat. There are a few others too.

How about an Apistogramma Viejita for life in a 25?
