Hi I am planning to restock my 75 and I tought of

1 juvenile jd 5”-6”
1 juvenile green terror (gold saum) 4”-5”
my juvenile electric blue acaras( I have 6) 2” to 3.5”

with

my striped raphael
my featherfin synodontis
and my clown loaches (my dad absolutely is in love with them I know I will have to remove them eventually)
and my polar blue convicts(there are 4 of them) 2 male 2 female

may I keep these 3 types of fish that are at the top of the list (I may remove some of the EBA s in the tank but they are my fav mid size south american)

Can I keep my featherfin syno and striped raphael

I am using an oase biomaster 825 right now with 2 bio 3 mechanic and 2 sponge baskets (around 400 gph)

the decoration I think is anubias making cover for bottom dwellers and egeria (those long plants that grow fast) planted at random places with a tree branch that goes through the whole tank (should I remove the branches or would they be a good cover for EBA s

(pardon my english If I messed it up)

I would pick one species of cichlid (including the hybrids), grow them out and keep your favorite or a pair. the acaras and Green terror are the same genus and they all really look too similar to coexist for any period of time in such a small footprint.

I'd want atleast a 125 for those cichilids- disregarding the clown loaches and syno

The 4 foot length really cripples you with cichlids. 75 is a favorite size for me, but it’s only good for a pair of fish. Even a pair of cutteri will make life hell for the other fish in a 75 when they spawn. Everyone will look raggedy all the time from beating on each other. Not to mention the maintenance trying to keep that kind of bio load in a healthy environment is basically an unreasonable task to undertake and still enjoy the fish.

you need another tank.

the current stock list needs at least 2 more 75's to be sustainable

Ok thanks for your replies. They already sold the juvenile american cichlids Now I am planning to add a blue acara and re add my Parrots (thats it)
